Skyscrapers don’t like to be lonely. They like to grow together in 'forests' like huge redwood trees and to block a good part of the sky. It is very rare to see a lone skyscraper like the Transco Tower.

Houston's Transco Tower could enter the Guinness Book of World Records as the tallest skyscraper in the United States outside the city's central business district.

The building was named after the first main tenant. In 1999, the name of the building was changed to Williams Tower, because Transco Energy Co. merged with Williams companies.

The glass facade of this neo-art deco building is fascinating in itself and represents an optical illusion. The building is surrounded by a park with a huge water wall that can slightly alleviate the heat of Houston summers.

Back in 1985, a "French Spider-Man" tried to climb this 64-storey/274.6m high building, but the police stopped him before he started climbing.

The painting comes in a limited series of only 50 prints.  Each print is hand-signed numbered and it includes a certificate of authenticity.

The artwork is using a 1.5" deep gallery wrap and it is not framed.
