In Richmond, Texas, there is a family garden that specializes in selling a wide range of plants. Sometimes we buy flowers or fertilizer from them. During our first visit, I spotted this little red truck in the middle of a beautiful flower bed.

After hundreds of thousands of miles traveled and countless tons of towed manure, dirt, and God knows what other cargo this little red truck got tired and gave up.  Exhausted by the Texas dusty roads the truck finally surrendered.  Worn out tires, a leaky transmission, burned pistons and the truck body battered by the heat and humidity have found their last refuge in a beautiful garden with colorful flowers.

Is there a better place to retire than an enchanted garden surrounded by flowers and children playing around?

The painting comes in a limited series of only 50 prints.  Each print is hand-signed numbered and it includes a certificate of authenticity.
