Cavtat (pronounced TSAV-tat) is a town on the Adriatic Coast of Croatia and this is one of my favorite summer spots.  The old town Cavtat is built on Rat peninsula.  There’s a beautiful promenade following the peninsula coastline  along the sea edge.  I strolled along this path many times.   

The beautiful sea view from the promenade inspired me to show how my eye sees one of the small coves along the path.  The vivid colors in this landscape represent the endorphins volcano triggered by the view.  A summer walk around the peninsula is simply a factory of good mood.

The painting comes in a limited series of only 50 prints.  Each print is hand-signed numbered and it includes a certificate of authenticity.
